These terms apply to all bookings of courses, workshops, live sessions and digital learning content ("courses") through davincischool.net and learn.davincischool.net. Your contract partner is Dr. Heike Bielek, Da Vinci School, Friedrich-Stoltze-Str. 14, 65824 Schwalbach am Taunus, Germany, [email protected] (see Imprint).
The content, dates and format of each course are described on its course page at the time of booking.
The course pages are an invitation to book, not a binding offer. By completing the payment in our checkout (Stripe) you make a binding offer; the contract is concluded when we confirm your booking by email. The contract language is English. We store the contract details; you receive the essential information in your confirmation email.
All prices are final prices in euros. As a small business according to § 19 UStG, we do not charge VAT. Payment is made in advance through Stripe (card and other methods offered in checkout). Where instalments are offered (for example for Teacher Training), the agreed instalments are due on the dates shown at booking. Discount and referral codes cannot be combined unless stated otherwise and cannot be exchanged for cash.
After payment you receive access to the course in your account on learn.davincischool.net. "Lifetime access" means access for as long as we operate the course platform; should we ever close a paid course, we will give at least 12 months' notice. Your access is personal: please do not share your login or pass on course materials.
Live sessions take place on Zoom at the dates and times shown on the course page (times in CET/CEST unless stated otherwise). You receive the link by email. If you miss a session, there is no right to a repeat session; where recordings are offered, this is stated on the course page. We may move a session for important reasons (for example illness); we then offer a new date. If we cancel a course, you receive a full refund of what you paid for it.
In addition to your legal right of withdrawal (section 8), which remains unaffected, we offer:
To cancel, simply email [email protected]. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
If you are a consumer, you have the following legal right of withdrawal.
Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Dr. Heike Bielek, Da Vinci School, Friedrich-Stoltze-Str. 14, 65824 Schwalbach am Taunus, Germany, [email protected]) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by a clear statement (for example a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notice before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we are informed of your decision. We will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement. If you requested that services (such as live sessions) begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount proportionate to what has been provided until you informed us of your withdrawal, compared with the full scope of the contract.
Early expiry for digital content. For digital content not supplied on a physical medium (for example self-paced courses), the right of withdrawal expires once we have begun providing the content, provided that you have expressly agreed that we begin before the end of the withdrawal period, you have confirmed that you are aware that you lose your right of withdrawal by doing so, and we have sent you a confirmation of this. Our voluntary 14-day refund for self-paced courses (section 7) still applies.
(If you want to withdraw from the contract, please fill in this form and send it back.)

All course content — videos, drawings, texts, worksheets, slides and the app — is protected by copyright and is for your personal learning only. You may not record live sessions, copy, sell or publish course materials, or use them to teach others, unless you are a certified teacher of the Da Vinci School and the materials were provided to you for that purpose.
We want our sessions to be a respectful space. We may exclude participants from a session or course who seriously or repeatedly disrupt it or behave abusively; in that case there is no refund for the remaining part.
Our courses teach geometry, its history and its meaning in nature, art and different traditions. They are educational and do not replace medical, psychological or other professional advice.
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the damage that is typical and foreseeable for this kind of contract. We are not liable for technical problems on your side or for outages of third-party services (for example Zoom) that are beyond our control.
German law applies. If you are a consumer living in another country, the mandatory consumer protection rules of that country remain unaffected. If any provision of these terms is invalid, the rest remains valid. We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
