About The instructor

Dr. Heike Bielek

Heike completed her PhD in Biosciences at the University of Freiburg, Germany. She spent the last 8 years travelling the world, exploring different cultures and knowledge pools. Particularly, in India, she has immersed herself in the ancient spiritual philosophies, which she integrates with her love for science, art, music and movement to elevate human consciousness.

Who is this for?

The course is designed for people who want to enhance their cognitive and creative abilities. Students can use it as a creative learning tool to start connecting different subject matters. Teachers can utilise it to make learning more engaging. If you are enthusiastic about art, ancient culture, science or philosophy, it will help you see how everything can be described by the same basic principles.

Who is it not for?

If you do not like art, science or philosophy, then this course is not for you. Whilst kids as young as 4+ can colour mandalas, we recommend a minimum age of 7+ with parental/teacher guidance in compass construction. We also explore some deeper concepts which are more suitable for teenagers and above.

What tools do I need?

This is a practical course, and so we recommend you use a drawing compass, a ruler, pencils, paper, and some colours, to fully engage with the learning experience. All of these tools are easily available in any stationery shop.
